Entain Australia and New Zealand is looking for a Commercial Media Specialist to join our Broadcasting team. The Commercial Media Specialist is responsible for the building of and smooth running and implementation of Entain Media’s advertising across all platforms, including Trackside TV, SENZ Radio and digital channels. Working with our producers and external sales team, this role will guide the selling of advertising and sponsorships, and once sold, their implementation and running on a day-to-day basis, plus post-campaign reporting.

We have offices in Auckland, Wellington, Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. This role will be based in Auckland, with time spent across both of our TAB and SENZ offices.

Your day-to-day...

• Build the Entain Media commercial business – in coordination with our external sales partner and existing internal teams, set up and implement a functional commercial sales system across the Entain Media platforms – television, radio, digital. 
• Be the representative of Entain Media with external advertising sales team – attend all necessary meetings and be a point of contact for this sales team; build knowledge of realistic commercial opportunities on our platforms and how these can be leveraged for selling; guide the sales team on what is and isn’t possible and desirable on our platforms and be responsible for any feedback to this sales team both during and post campaign. Implementation and running of sold campaigns – once sold, it is your responsibility to transform the sold contract into an active sponsorship/campaign by working with an external traffic team, our producers, on air talent and control room crew.  
• Manage all advertising inventory – make sure TV and radio inventory, plus sponsorship collateral, is keyed appropriately, kept ordered and up to date, and removed from transmission once campaigns are complete. Keep track of sales figures and playout. Be on the lookout for commercial opportunities – develop possible properties for sale with our internal production team and the external sales team. 
• Manage existing client relationships – manage the group of long running Trackside clients who run small advertising spot campaigns, be their point of contact, draw up spot schedules and contracts, manage their advertising collateral and implementation of their contracts. 

You're a match if you ideally have...

• Work Experience – 2-3 years experience in commercial sales and campaign implementation at a broadcaster is essential. An understanding and appreciation of live broadcasting, racing and wagering is useful.
• People skills – excellent communication skills are required both in person and via phone to an internal and external audience. Experience representing a business to an external partner with confidence. Resourceful and driven, self-reliant with a strong attention to detail. 
• Educational Requirements – secondary school qualifications in Maths and English. 
• Technical skills, desirable – experience with a scheduling system is desirable as a backup to an existing staff member, but our system will be taught. Experience working in Microsoft Office environments.
