The Compounding Pharmacist will be responsible for the compounding and preparation of prescription medication for various products offered through Ro. They will work closely with pharmacists, technicians, and physicians to ensure a high standard of care for patients. This individual will help ensure the compounding operation runs smoothly and efficiently while overseeing the responsibilities of our pharmacy technicians.

You are an experienced compounding pharmacist or a pharmacist interested in learning the art of compounding.
We are located in Boynton Beach, FL. This hire is for a Full-time role working the hours 12:30-9PM ET from Monday-Friday.
What You'll Do:Compounds and prepares medications based on receipt of prescription ordersWorks to help manage pharmacy inventory management, prescription compounding, dispensing processes, supply management and delivery processesEnsures that all procedures, records, and pharmacy non-sterile labs are in compliance with all state, federal, and industry standard requirementsEnsures that no outdated drugs are dispensed or maintained within the active inventory of the pharmacy, including prescription and related nonprescription itemsReceives stock and manages inventory, including but not limited to record-keepingTakes directions and follows through with mandates by the company made by the Pharmacist-in-Charge, Lead Compounding Specialist and leadershipProvides management with routine updates regarding the productivity and efficiency of operationsFollows written policies and procedures to establish responsibilities of pharmacy technicians and other personnel in areaDevelops a system to assure that all pharmacy personnel responsible for compounding and/or supervising the compounding of pharmaceuticals within the pharmacy receive appropriate education, training, and competency evaluationTakes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policyHelps create a culture of continuous improvement and actively helps drive a team-oriented environmentEnsures all licensing requirements are up to date per state and federal requirementsMaintains up to date knowledge on industry trends and technologiesPerforms other job-related duties as requiredNonsterile compounding certification, or willingness to complete certification coursework assigned by Ro within 6 months of starting roleWhat You'll Bring:USP 795 experience preferred, but not requiredPrevious experience in a compounding role preferred, but not requiredHighly independent and autonomousPharm D from an Accredited College of PharmacyActive and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the state of FloridaStrong, metric driven operator who works well in a team environmentExcitement and willingness around learning and continuously improving your compounding skillsAbility to work 12:30-9PM ET from Monday-FridayRo recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
