Overview

  • : The Coordinator, Braves Entertainment assists the Manager, Braves Entertainment in delivering engaging ballpark and community experiences that reflect the team's brand and organizational values.
  • This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of entertainment programming, game-day activations, special events, and community appearances throughout Braves Country.
  • The Braves Entertainment Department creates memorable, interactive experiences that enhance the fan experience and contribute to a unique baseball atmosphere.
  • From game-day entertainment to year-round special events, the department plays a key role in driving fan engagement, supporting the club's brand, and creating memorable moments that inspire guests to return to Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta.
  • KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Oversee daily operations and guest experiences within Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Park.
  • Plan, develop, and execute children's plaza entertainment, including creating rundowns and writing scripts.
  • Stage manage assigned pregame, in-game, and postgame entertainment throughout the ballpark.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including ticketing, parking, credentialing, and asset procurement.
  • Serve as the liaison between Entertainment and internal departments to plan and execute assigned events.
  • Source, secure, and book entertainment talent, including DJs, bands, performance teams, and specialty acts for game days and special events.
  • Manage talent load-in, on-site hospitality, performance execution, and load-out.
  • Design and procure event collateral, signage, props, décor, and other event materials.
  • Schedule, supervise, and manage payroll and attendance for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Park staff.
  • Coordinate and book community appearances for the Entertainment department.
  • Schedule Braves entertainment teams for game days, community appearances, and special events.
  • These teams include the Tomahawk Team, Heavy Hitters, Mascot Staff, and Kids Crew.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of club events as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and brand standards during all entertainment activities.
  • Evaluate entertainment programming and recommend enhancements to improve the fan experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • ADDITIONAL POSITION

Requirements

  • : College graduate, Bachelor's or Master's, with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduation.
  • Experience in event planning, preferably in a sports, entertainment, or hospitality setting.
  • Possess highly creative skills.
  • Able to contribute to a brainstorming environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic, dedication, and reliability Physically capable of standing for long periods of time Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in various outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures & rain Ability to work long hours, weekends and occasional holidays Ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the company Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Customer service oriented Excellent executive presence Reliable transportation and driving proficiency.
  • A valid driver’s license is required
