Job Description

Position Summary:

This role supports the planning and execution of the guest experience for executive-level guests and key partners attending global league events (NBA All-Star, International Pre-Season and Regular Season Games, NBA Draft, NBA Finals, executive-level meetings and events, etc.).

Major Responsibilities:

•    Support processes to ensure an elevated and seamless experience for executive-level guests and key partners attending global League events.
•    Assist with event guest list and invite coordination.
•    Assist with arena ticketing delivery and seating assignments.
•    Support internal event reservation system as it relates to event planning, sleeping rooms, ticket requests and special requests.
•    Assist with the development, testing and implementation of event evites and websites.
•    Assist with the development of schedules and agendas for events.
•    Assist with event participant coordination and logistics.
•    Develop event profiles and recaps.
•    Assist with gifting and merchandise coordination.
•    Assist with internal contact information systems.  Run reports for event management and guest mailings.  Maintain current guest information.

Required Education/Professional Experience:

•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
•    A minimum of 3+ years of event planning experience (VIP, executive-level familiarity is a plus).

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

•    Strong executive presence, experience working with VIP clients.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Extremely meticulous, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills (solutions oriented).
•    Discretion and a high level of confidentiality.
•    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
•    Self-starter while being a team player with ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
•    Determination and flexibility to overcome challenges to ensure events are successful.
•    High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM.
•    Ability to travel globally; approximately 20% travel.
