This role supports our core teams, driving diversity, equity, and inclusion across our dynamic Daily Fantasy Sports industry. The chosen candidate will work closely with Leadership and HR teams, infusing a diverse perspective into our business strategies and objectives.

As a DEI Business Partner, you will employ your expertise to influence both overarching business strategies and specific team dynamics, fostering the development and implementation of innovative DEI plans. By collaborating with business and HR leadership, you'll evaluate organizational health, spotlight opportunities, and devise impactful solutions. Furthermore, your role involves partnering with fellow Business Partners to encourage integrating company-wide DEI programs, measuring and reporting on DEI commitments to ensure progress aligns with our goals.

Responsibilities include crafting and executing DEI strategies that support our business objectives, developing global initiatives, and consulting with senior leaders to foster an inclusive culture. This role demands a strategic thinker who can also execute. Plans a professional capable of analyzing data, managing risks, and balancing business needs with diversity program implementation.

What you’ll do:

  • Spearhead DEI strategy and initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and ensuring implementation across multifunctional teams.
  • Update business leaders regularly on DEI progress and its impact on business goals.
  • Consult with business partners to develop relevant reports, metrics, and research supporting DEI initiatives.
  • Maintain DEI data integrity and provide insightful reporting.
  • Collaborate with the People Ops team to create mechanisms that nurture an inclusive work environment.
  • Establish strong partnerships with Business Partners and the Recruiting Team.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert within the DEI community, sharing best practices and leveraging tools for meaningful impact.
  • Influence diversity strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.

What You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR or a business function, with a preference for backgrounds in start-up technology organizations that are in high growth mode.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner, effectively utilizing data to align with impactful diversity strategies.

  • At least 3 years of relevant DEI experience, ideally within the niche industry of a start-up Daily Fantasy Sports or similar organization.
  • Proven track record in addressing complex problems with solutions grounded in expertise and research.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement world-class projects across diverse business units.
  • Recognized leadership in challenging environments, with a knack for influencing and building relationships across complex matrices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, collaborative success, and a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to identify strategic risks/opportunities and make informed trade-offs.
  • A resourceful leader who quickly assumes control of their responsibilities, establishing credibility as a strategic partner.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals engagingly.

  • This is a Hybrid role working out of our office in Atlanta, GA
