We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners
We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.
We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new £5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. Our aim is to reach millions of subscribers in the next 5 years and be the go-to training platform for any runner. The role
We’re launching an exciting Digital Marketing Graduate program that offers you the opportunity to work across key areas of our growth & digital marketing function: Performance Marketing, CRM, App Store Optimisation (ASO), SEO, and Web Design.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be supporting across our key digital marketing functions listed below, gaining diverse, hands-on experience in each:
- Performance Marketing: Assisting in the development and execution of paid media campaigns (e.g., on Meta and TikTok) and collaborating with our agency to optimize campaign performance.
- CRM: Supporting the team in building customer relationships through targeted campaigns, helping manage email marketing, push notifications, and more.
- App Store Optimisation (ASO): Learning how to improve Runna’s visibility in app stores through keyword optimization, reviews, and creative assets.
- SEO: Gaining exposure to content creation, keyword research, and strategies to drive organic search growth.
- Conversion rate optimisation: Collaborating with designers to ensure optimal user experiences across our site, while learning the fundamentals of UX, experimentation and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Interview process
Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:
- Kick off! (Please apply now via Workable)
- Interview Round 1: Introductory chat with Laura/Holly/Emily - (30-minute video call)
- Take Home Task (~60 minutes)
- Interview Round 2: Video Interview with Miranda/Laura (45-minutes, presenting task)
- Final round: Office visit (in-person chat with exec(s) and rest of the team)
Timelines
- Please submit your application via workable by the 20th of December
- We’ll let you know if you’ve been invited to interview w/c 6th January
- Round one interviews (virtual) will take place w/c 20th January
- Round two interviews (virtual) will take place w/c 27th January
- Final round interviews (in person) will take place w/c 3rd February

Requirements
What experience we’re looking for
We recruit students and grads who are smart and curious with excellent communication skills. Our teams have degrees in many different disciplines. If you don’t quite meet all of the below skills, we’d still love to hear from you as we might be able to tweak the role slightly or offer you a position better suited for you. About you:
- You are on track to receive a 1st or 2:1 (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree in a relevant degree field (e.g., Marketing, Marketing & Management, Digital Marketing, Business with Marketing, Sports Marketing) and graduating in summer 2025
- You are data driven, and able to extract key user trends from numbers to inform decision making
- You are curious, eager to learn, and can adapt quickly across different areas
- You have excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- You are a self-starter, highly organised, and can manage multiple tasks across teams
- You love a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making an impact
- You are commercially minded and can quickly understand business implications of different decisions
Bonus points if you:
Don't worry, you are not expected to have the below experience but if it is something that interests you then please do get in touch
- LOVE running
- Have held a leadership role in a university society or founded your own side business
- Have worked in the consumer fitness space before and understand what building the world’s best running coaching app takes
- Have had hands on experience in one or more of the marketing areas you’ll be working on

Our salary intelligence, powered by our AI algorithms, has calculated an estimated range for this position between $28,000 - $35,000 . Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
