The Digitization Production Assistant role is designed to handle day-to-day and long-term asset management support for the operations team working in a shared storage environment. This role will help to manage what production material is stored and/or archived, while also working with various production teams to fulfill footage requests.
Responsibilities:
The Digitization Production Assistant will be responsible for helping the NBC Sports Group with digitizing the videotape, disc and film archive.
Organize and enter metadata for videotapes, discs and film reels in the NBC Sports Group’s physical media tracking system.
Review all physical libraries to determine which assets should be digitized
Prepare tapes to be sent out of house to be digitized.
Assist with the editing of metadata and trimming for new digital files.
Track physical media shipments coming back to the NBC Sports Group facility and prepare them to be sent out for long-term storage.
Support all of NBC’s production teams with footage searches, restores, EDLs, and screeners
Ensure operationally that LTO/ODA assets are being updated as they move throughout the building as they’re critical to our operations

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
