CrossFit is looking to hire an experience Director of Content. In this role, you will lead a world-class content team that sets the industry standard for high-quality health and fitness content. This role manages a large number of simultaneous projects against an aggressive strategic growth roadmap and revenue targets. You will be responsible for building and developing their team, and leveraging appropriate external resources to augment in-house expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accountable for end-to-end delivery of content projects on the strategic roadmap, and responsible for building the content framework for deciding and prioritizing content initiatives
· Build a world class content team that includes internal and external resources. This team will include domain experts, course designers, content writers, technology expertise, and media and production teams that will be a combination of employees and external partners
· Manage relationships with stakeholders across the company to support delivery of EDU’s course and content priorities
· Establish and manage a robust content feedback program that improves the quality and relevance of EDU content towards our target audiences
· Establish and maintain internal working processes that enable multiple parallel deliverables against an aggressive and ongoing release schedule
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Expert level knowledge of CrossFit’s training methodology and existing course products
· Experience working in a content management related field
· Demonstrated ability to work against aggressive revenue and timeline targets
· Passion for CrossFit and our mission to be the world's leading platform for health, happiness and performance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design or Health, Nutrition, Sport Science or a related field. MBA preferred.
· CF-L1 required. CF-L2 or or higher preferred.
· 5+ years as a leader of content teams
