The Esports team plays a pivotal role in designing and bringing to life the most amazing esports products for the community. They contribute to creating exceptional experiences that resonate with users and elevate the world of esports.
You will oversee the Talent Management department, part of the esports production team. You will lead an established team to create the best talent line-ups for our shows and manage the hiring process from initial requests from internal stakeholders, to negotiating and contracting with the talent, to invoicing and reporting after each event.
Your focus will be on long-term stability and success, creating development programs and integrating global processes along the way. You will be able to play a hands-on role in talent selection and development for EFG events.
Requirements
What you'll do
- Planning Talent Management resources: identifying, developing, and nurturing skilled players and personnel;
- Personnel management of Talent Management department;
- Overseeing hiring of Talent for all global productions;
- Coordination of Talent for marketing & commercial projects;
- Negotiation of important Talent hires - Overseeing negotiations of smaller broadcast Talent assigned to Talent Management team;
- Creation & maintenance of long-term Talent vision, deals & contractual frameworks;
- Creation & management of Talent development programmes;
- Managing BU process for Talent Management CC and supporting BU creation for projects;
- Conduct Strategy meetings with Product, Commercials, Marketing to align on strategy and approach for talents;
- Build a global talent database for better global alignment between different products;
- Agree on process for talent-payment-cycles with Finances;
What you'll need
- A deep understanding of talent space & work;
- Established relationships with important talent & agencies in multiple esports scenes;
- Ability to manage & optimize large budgets;
- High availability to talent before, during and after events;
- React and resolve issues quickly and effectively with your team;
- Precise tracking of issues and creating reports for clients;
- Basic knowledge in talent contracting;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to remain calm and professional;
- Willingness to work unorthodox hours and travel;
- To complete any other tasks that may reasonably fall within this roles remit;
