We are on the lookout for a visionary Director of Site Experience and Operations, responsible for harmonizing the brand's consumer experience with commercial objectives. This leadership role oversees site merchandising, site experience, site operations, content scheduling and conversion rate optimization. This role will lead their team to deliver an exceptional online experience that meets acquisition and retention goals while being aligned with the brand strategy and voice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in eCommerce, a track record of driving results, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the intersection of brand experience and commercial needs on the website, ensuring a cohesive consumer journey.
  • Oversee site merchandising, editorial calendar management, content scheduling, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Be the voice of the consumer by leveraging site metrics, consumer and sell thru data constantly to make informed business decisions and recommendations back to the broader organization
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to deliver the pinnacle brand experience while delivering budget.
  • Develop strategies to meet acquisition targets and retain loyal customers, enhancing the overall brand loyalty.
  • Build processes and workback plans to ensure teams are regularly updated and prepared for product launches and seasonal priorities.
  • Partner upstream to advocate for the consumer and site needs to deliver the best experience and conversion. Provide regular feedback to drive steady improvement across all teams and processes.
  • Lead the CRO team in a robust testing schedule that enhances the consumer experience.
  • Partner with the data analytics team to build the needed consumer profiles to allow for stronger targeting and personalization across the site. Lead the team in developing a personalization roadmap inline with the consumer profiles
  • Lead the site operations team in meeting all deadlines with efficiency and accuracy. Remove roadblocks and leverage new tools to improve the backends processes.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and providing regular, constructive feedback.

  • Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in eCommerce, general management, merchandising, or similar roles
  • Footwear industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Advanced knowledge of site metrics and analytics, with a strong foundation in problem-solving and cross-functional partnership.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and projects, with the ability to influence broadly within the organization.
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to manage up to the executive level, aligning strategy with long-term objectives.
