We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. Growing as fast as we do in Veo means that every day is different, exciting, and challenging, both on the front line and in the back office.

But that’s not the most remarkable thing about us.

The coolest thing is our people. We’ve attracted some of the brightest minds in the industry. They are the reason we can create a great product and do it while enjoying ourselves.

We are aiming to build Denmark's most innovative Product Development department in VEO.

Part of that is automating and testing everything we do, to ensure the highest level of quality, insight and most robust development and production line setup. We therefore need a creative generalist that can span the entire stack from embedded Linux to cloud, and be able to tie these two ends together and ensure that we are able to test the entire stack. You will have a strong say in choice of technologies, and work on a wide variety of tools and platforms.

It is therefore preferred that you are more of a generalist, that enjoys being creative and finding the right tools for the right job. Examples could be creating a dashboard to visualize error logs, parsing boot logs from our embedded system, creating a GitHub action that compares data from a battery usage tests, wiring up a test-jig with a single board computer and some shields to test certain aspects of our hardware.

Despite the playful and creative nature of the role, you should still be able to work systematically, document your work, and deliver robust solutions.

Responsible for:
  • Developing automated tests for the camera hardware
  • Developing automated CI/CD setups to make development, tests, and deployment more manageable for both the firmware, video processing and AI teams
  • Developing assembly line tools (for our in-house assembly line) for flashing, calibration, and testing of the camera hardware
  • Developing dashboards to monitor all aspects of development, build, and assembly line status

  • Environment/Language/Tools/Platforms:
  • Python
  • Rust
  • Linux (Yocto)
  • Github
  • CI / CD (eg. Jenkins / TeamCity / Github actions)
  • NixOS
  • AWS (EC2, S3)

  • We seek qualified people regardless of seniority, but for this position, you must have five years of practical experience developing software tools or a master's degree in a relevant area.

You will work closely with the three other developers in the CamOPS group, the Assembly line NPI manager, Embedded Software Developers, and our Optical Physicist Specialist. (image calibration tooling)
