POSITION SUMMARY

The Equipment Manager oversees the day-to-day equipment operations and logistics for the Los Angeles Football Club. This includes but is not limited to players, coaches, and technical staff.  

This role reports to the VP, Soccer Operations.    

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Order, organize, and keep inventory or all team equipment and apparel.  
  • Responsible for heat pressing patches, numbers, letters, sponsor logos, and ad team badges on all team gear as required by team and league guidelines. 
  • Maintain equipment room, laundry facility, locker rooms, and storage of goods.  
  • Manage, organize, and transport equipment needs of first team players, coaches, technical and medical staff.   
  • Ordering and maintaining good relationships with adidas, Uni-Sport and other partner reps. 
  • Assist coaching staff with field set up for training and pre-game warm up.  
  • Ensure practice and game day balls are properly inflated. 
  • Launder all training and game day gear. 
  • Pack for home and away matches.  
  • Partner with department management on all equipment repairs and needs including inventory, storage, and distribution. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree from an accredited four-year College or University preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role required, soccer or MLS experience preferred but not required. 
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.  
  • Must be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks at once. 
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written). 
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. 
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required. 
  • Ability to travel with the first team for away games required. 

SALARY RANGE 

At LAFC, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience and training. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure guidelines, the overall range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
