Barstool Sports is in search of an Equipment Supervisor in our Chicago office. This person will be prepping all recording equipment, organizing the equipment room and working with Production Operations team for all shoots. This is a fully in office position, 5 days per week.


What You'll Do: 

  • Handle day to day equipment requests for both in-house productions and field shoots in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a large stock of production equipment through means of constant testing, cleaning, updates and repairs
  • Work with producers to build out customized equipment packages tailored to the specific needs of their shoots
  • Train production staff as needed on proper policy as well as best practices for each new piece of equipment 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise both in studio and remote
  • Track all equipment usage using Cheqroom’s inventory management system
  • Handle external rentals that cannot be fulfilled through in-house equipment stock
  • Report to the Equipment Manager to ensure that all equipment needs are being fully met and to ensure uniformity in procedure across offices and studios

What You Have:

  • 1-3 Years experience at a camera rental company or in an equipment management position at a production company
  • Bachelor's Degree in Film/Television or Broadcasting and/or equivalent on set experience
  • Familiarity with an inventory management system or asset tracker
  • Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure
  • Passion and in depth knowledge of Camera, Audio, Lighting and other related production technology
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders

Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,000
