Sword Health is looking for a Production Supervisor to be an integral part of the manufacturing process. The candidate must be competent and comprehend complex operations. He/she should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the cost and leveraging the number of units produced.
What you'll do: Help management to set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules, ensuring that production targets are met, and quality standards are maintained.Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Complete scheduled equipment maintenance and calibration.Coordination between quality assurance, subject matter experts, supply chain, and production staff.Check production output according to specifications.Maintain production records and reports, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Assist managers in making informed decisions by providing data-driven insights.Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements. Train new employees on how to use the production tools and equipments and follow procedures/ work instructions. Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards related with Quality, Regulatory, Safety and Compliance.Oversee and coach employees, training and mentoring them on best practices and safety protocols.Foster a culture of continuous learning and skills development within the team. Requirements and Skills: Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role. Experience in managing 3PL relationship and supervising team of contractors.Experience in using various types of IT equipments and tools production tools, ie: printers, scanners, chargers, tablets, etc.Advanced skills in MS Office/ Google productivity tools.Organizational and leadership abilities.Communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.Problem-solving skills.Spanish speaker required.High School Diploma; a Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage.*Please note that this position does not offer relocation assistance.
