Get Golfing CIO, a charity that supports struggling English golf facilities to prevent course and club closures, is looking for an Events Co-Ordinator. We are seeking an talented and passionate and happy individual to join our team to coordinate and oversee our weddings, events and functions.

Attention to detail ensure the planning and execution of all events and ensuring our clients leave happy after a flawless celebration.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work closely with clients to understand their requirements
• Co-ordinate and manage all aspect of the event planning process
• Collaborate with vendors, entertainers etc. to ensure the correct legal documents are received
• Oversee set up of decorations, breakdown of event spaces in line with venue T&Cs and clients’ specifications
• To be pro active and trouble shoot
• Provide excellent customer service, promptly responding to clients enquiries and address any concerns / changes throughout the planning process
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal to ensure a positive relationship with clients, vendors and team members
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and problem solve on the spot to ensure the smooth execution of any event
• Work closely with the Sales Manager and Club House Manager to ensure information is provided within set time lines and within the event pricing schedule

Requirements

• A background in Events and sales with a proven track record of success. Minimum 2yrs experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• A creative and innovative approach to business development and problem-solving.
• A track record of delivering results consistent with revenue and margin targets.
