We are looking for a Financial Accounting analyst to join our growing team in Athens. This is a great opportunity for professionals who aspire to advance their career in Accounting by enhancing the financial and accounting efficiency and robustness of our scaling organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting duties such as bookkeeping of transactions related to specific vendor categories and bank transactions, conducting bank reconciliations for company’s banks, updating accounts statements, monitoring vendors’ balances and managing relevant accruals through monthly reconciliation processes;
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data. Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data;
• Provide support for ERP reporting with regards to budget and financial statements;
• Participate in the analysis of financial results;
• Deliver Ad hoc requests and participate in projects when requested;
• Collaborate with the Headquarters’ team for the timely and accurate monthly reporting;
• Cooperate with both internal and external auditors’ teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Finance/ Accounting;
• 3+ years of combined financial reporting/accounting experience in a relevant position in a corporate international environment;
• Basic knowledge of IFRS standards;
• Experience with formal audit processes;
• Possessing a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CA, ICAS, CPA, IESOEL) will be considered a strong advantage;
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and particularly Excel;
• Previous experience in Microsoft Business Central will be considered as an asset.
