Our company is looking for a Financial Controls Executive to join our team. Financial Controls Executive objectives include monitoring  and controlling the direction, allocation, and usage of Kaizen Group financial resources. This role is an essential component of long-term business strategy and enables the organization to maintain financial accountability and communication at all group levels, ensuring all stakeholders comply with fiduciary responsibility and corporate governance. In addition, this role ensures the implementation of effective financial control policies after a thorough analysis of the existing policies and future outlook of the group.

• Initiate the design, development and deployment of the Financial Controls framework, ensuring coordination of stakeholder participation, feedback and buy in, along with ongoing maintenance and validation of framework compliance.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls, guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with all company’s divisions establishing and maintaining financial controls. 
• Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide support to management, particularly in commercial and financial matters.
• Manage accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Identify, develop, and monitor KPIs.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2 years working experience.
• Knowledge of sound internal control principles and demonstrated ability to provide solutions to control issues.
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
• Ability to manage projects, with attention to detail on multiple concurrent tasks, while meeting various deadlines.
• Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
• Thorough knowledge of tax, accounting and reporting principles and procedures.
• Basic IFRS experience.
• Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ability to work both individually and within a team environment, build strong relationships and maintain rapport with cross-functional business units, Internal Control teams and external consultants.
• Advanced computer skills.
