We are currently executing various M&A transactions, which provide the opportunity to be at the forefront of post-merger integration (PMI), play an operational role in executing our ambitious roll-up strategy, all while contributing to our strong organic growth. Expect M&A, exposure to leaders throughout the organization, and to see finance process transformation up close. We are seeking an experienced FP&A Expert to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in Private Equity or Investment Banking (Analyst Level) who is looking to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment and interested to move into an operational role within a PE-backed company. The FP&A Expert will play a critical role in strategic planning, financial analysis, and business performance management.
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include analyzing and preparing accurate monthly results outputs, producing management KPIs, forecasting and helping to build budget/M&A models. As an FP&A expert, you will report to the FP&A director.
This position has potential growth paths for either the technical expert or the person who wants to eventually step into management.
This job is based in Warsaw, and will require you to come to our office in Wilanow, Warsaw at least 2x per week.
Your position in our teamLead the close QA – pull together the management reporting, dive into variances vs. budget and forecast, identify mistaken bookings for accounting to correct, and present findings to the CFODrive the functional reporting process—help our functional heads stay on track with budget, and drive process improvementsContributing to the overall FP&A data model, including budgets, forecasts, etc.Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutionsDive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insightsWork on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organizationIdentify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvementDevelop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organizationYour profileBachelor’s degree and more than two years of experience in Private Equity, Corporate Finance/Investment Banking, or Consulting, or four years in a finance, accounting or closely-related areaGeneral knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles, and business success driversExperience developing financial reports and metricsInterpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levelsAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environmentPower user Excel skills are required, Think-cell and Workday Adaptive skills are a plusSuperior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big pictureExtensive experience to influence others through effective verbal and written communicationExperience to drive projects across an organization is a plusFluent business English skills (C1) are requiredWho we are
