Position: Front of House Hospitality Attendant
Reports to: MLB Executive Performance Chef 
Status: Hourly; Part Time; Seasonal
Location: San Francisco, CA (potential for Spring Training in Scottsdale AZ)
Pay: $19.50-$25/hr
 
Position Summary:
The San Francisco Giants are currently seeking a Front of the House Hospitality Attendant to join our MLB Culinary team. This position is responsible for ensuring the organization, presentation, stocking and cleanliness of the San Francisco Giants Performance Dining Room as well as aiding the culinary team as needed in other capacities
 
Primary Position Responsibilities:
·         Operate all front of house operations including
o    Stock & front face all front of house and weight room fueling station products in a well presenting manner and report any irregularities to the MLB Executive Performance Chef such as missing items / low items
o    Maintain all equipment to its highest quality / Cleaning / polish / finish
o    Assist MLB Executive Performance Chef with front-of-house administrative duties.
o    Notifying culinary staff when hot line items are low and need restocked as well as aiding in replenishing hot food items.
o    Lead, supervise and participate in set-up to include; moving/setting tables and chairs, buffet/coffee set-up, preparation of condiments, labeling of stations, anticipating beverage needs, etc.
o    Aid in food prep as needed including but not limited to salad bar, sandwich bar, fruit bar, and smoothie station.
o    Organize and manage dry stock room and inventory
 
Additional Position Responsibilities
·         Execute daily prep list provided by Executive Performance Chef.
·         Help maintain Washing of Dishes/ Sweeping and Moping of both front and back of areas.
·         Assist with receiving and proper distribution of all front of house products
·         Read and interpret menus and timelines and follow instructions from the MLB Executive Performance Chef.
·         Ensure all assigned side-work and pre-work needed for future service is completed before leaving
·         Receiving shipments from suppliers and putting items away in the proper locations.
·         Other duties as assigned by the Director of Performance Nutrition, Clubhouse Manager and MLB Executive Chef
 
·         Availability:
o    This is a seasonal position with possibility of work occurring during holidays, weekends, non-traditional schedule.
Knowledge and Skills Required: 
Individual must be highly organized and attentive to detail
Minimum of 1 year of either professional clubhouse/locker room or food-service front of house experience preferred
Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and respectful conduct in athletic environments, including interactions with athletes and staff
Knowledgeable in culinary terms and safe food handling. Knife skills a plus.
Understands and complies with food safety and temperature standards.
Able to work non-traditional hours and remain flexible regarding work schedule.
Ability to handle confidential matters and information with discretion
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 25+ lbs.
Must assist with all work related maintenance requests from the MLB Executive Performance Chef.
