Wargaming is looking for а Game Economy Designer (Live Operations Team) to work on World of Warships in our brand-new Belgrade office.

As a Game Economy Designer you will play a key role in designing and managing systems that will enhance the player experience and encourage players to invest in the game. As part of the design team, you can create economy and balance rules with your expertise. Support us in creating fun, engaging, and outstanding player experiences.

The Live Operations (Live Ops) Team has a goal to manage and operate the game as a live service. The team regularly updates the game with new content, promotions, in-game events, and improvements to make the player experience better.

Monetization & Game Economy Team Lead

What will you do?

• Design and map out game progression from a systems and monetization perspective;
• Take responsibility for the quality of game economy systems. Analyze content from our current game to design and drive meaningful changes or improvements to economy design and monetization concepts;
• Work closely with game designers to match desired player behavior, systems, and creative game design for maximum effect;
• Ensure that the game economy design has enough monetization depth and viable content product needs;
• Provide clear system and economy documentation, diagrams, calculation models, analyses, wireframes, and/or prototypes;
• Analyze target game genres’ game economies, garnering key insights on how different mechanics provide different monetization potential through player experiences and behavior.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of game system design / balancing / pacing & monetization strategies for F2P games;
• Ability to design models and tools to simulate and analyze the game economy and player behavior. Create conclusions based on a model’s info;
• Statistical knowledge, able to formulate ratios and indexes specific to World of Warships game, identifying specific weaknesses and strengths in its economy design;
• Intermediate English or higher;
• Intermediate Russian or higher.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Basic Git knowledge;
• Basic knowledge of Jira;
• Basic knowledge of Confluence.
