We are hiring two game project coordinator co-ops one for Marvel Contest Of Champions and one for an unreleased project! The Game Project Coordinator Co-op supports the Games team in coordinating day-to-day operations for small-medium size and moderate complexity projects within the team and company. This role involves assisting in project planning and execution while providing administrative support to help achieve department, team, and organizational goals.
This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.
In this role, you can expect to:Project Support:Assist with task tracking, scheduling, and coordination for projects within the Game team.Monitor project tasks and alert senior staff to potential risks or conflicts as they arise.Support team members with the identification of potential conflicts in schedules, staffing, or resource allocation.Help maintain and support clear goals, timelines, and basic project deliverables for projects overseen by the Game team.
Reporting and Documentation:Support the creation of project documents, such as schedules, task lists, design documents, and risk management notes.Help maintain a well-established documentation repository, to allow for easy onboarding and knowledge sharing across stakeholders.Assist in preparing basic project status reports and collecting data from team members and stakeholders.Compile notes and actions from project meetings.
Stakeholder Coordination:Engage with internal stakeholders as needed, including managers and senior team members.Ensure effective communication and coordinate information between project teams and other departments.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:Working towards a Bachelor’s degree.Basic understanding of spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets).Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with team members across the organization.Experience with project management software or organizational applications (e.g., Asana, JIRA) is beneficial.Passion in the tech and gaming space is preferred.
