The Club at Mill Green is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Golf Course Starter/Marshal to join our team at Get Golfing. As a charity supporting struggling golf facilities in England, we are committed to providing exceptional experiences for our members and visitors. With multiple sites across the country, we attract a large number of golf enthusiasts who enjoy our well-maintained courses and outstanding customer service.

As a Golf Course Starter/Marshal, you will have a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all golfers. Your excellent communication skills, friendly attitude, and ability to enforce course policies will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers. You will be responsible for greeting golfers, managing tee times, monitoring the pace of play, and providing assistance and guidance when needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with golfers of all levels.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently manage tee times and ensure a steady flow of play.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, and to handle conflicts or difficult situations with diplomacy.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
