Your mission will be to contribute to the design and industrialization of the company products. You will provide technical support to the contract manufacturers, troubleshoot and find solutions to electronic and testing problems occurring on production lines, help solve quality issues that may arise with the industrialization of innovative hardware products. You will report to the manufacturing manager and will co-work on a regular basis with the industrialization team based in Paris.

Job duties

• Work with Withings' factories and suppliers on new product introduction and production ramp-up.
• Work with PE/TE teams at factories to improve production efficiency and solve technical problems (testing/electronics/firmware/software etc).
• Co-work with the Engineering team (France) and the Operation team (HK).
• Design, deploy and maintain test jigs at factories and suppliers.
• Use statistical analysis tools to monitor the various production lines.

Requirements

• You graduated with a bachelor BSc or master MSc in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in software programming (Python) is a strong plus.
• Experience in electronic pcb design and manufacturing of consumer electronic products is a plus.
• You are a passionate individual with strong problem solving skills and an autonomous mindset.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken) is required.
• Fluency in Chinese Mandarin is a strong plus. Fluency in French is a plus.

Localisation

The position is based in the newly opened Withings office in Novel Park (永新汇), Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Frequent travels within China (Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hunan provinces and Hong Kong) are to be expected. International trips to France may occur.
