In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects from concept through launch.

You will play a vital role in driving innovation in collaboration with Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Firmware, and Supply Chain teams.</span></div></br><b>

RESPONSIBILITIES

• </b></br>
• <li>Lead hardware engineering projects from concept through launch</li>
• <li>Create and manage detailed project plans aligned with WHOOP goals, balancing timelines, resources, and risks</li>
• <li>Work directly with engineering managers to set team priorities, mitigate schedule risks and identify opportunities to improve timelines</li>
• <li>Coordinate engineering builds and design-of-experiment (DOE) activities with internal and external manufacturing partners</li>
• <li>Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring timely decision-making and alignment</li>
• <li>Proactively identify and manage project risks and dependencies, driving resolution of technical and organizational blockers</li>
• <li>Escalate issues as necessary to executive stakeholders with options for resolution and mitigation</li>
• <li>Contribute to the ongoing refinement of WHOOP’s New Product Development Process to enhance execution of technical innovation and schedule predictability</li>

QUALIFICATIONS

• </b></br>
• <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in hardware product development</li>
• <li>3+ years of industry experience in the area of consumer electronic product development</li>
• <li>Demonstrated success managing cross-functional hardware projects from development through launch</li>
• <li>Strong understanding of hardware development cycles, standard lead times, and sourcing processes</li>
• <li>Experience communicating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and external partners both domestically and internationallyInnovative, knowledgeable, and able to adapt to fast-paced changing requirements</li>
• <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder management</li>
• </br><div><em><strong style="font-size: 10.5pt;">This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA.
