Head of 3PL Operations

In short:

On is hiring a Head of 3PL (third-party logistics) Operations to lead our largest market in overall distribution strategy & execution. You will be responsible for the performance & execution of our entire North American distribution organization, servicing our E-commerce, Retail, and Wholesale customers.  You will oversee all 3PL relationships and will have P&L responsibility for the performance of the business portfolio against Sales & Operational targets. You will be responsible for driving the standard operating procedures that support the strategic growth targets for On’s Long Range Plan to ensure we deliver a premium customer experience for all internal & external customers while championing the On culture. 

Your Mission: 

• You will lead and develop high-performing teams to ensure the achievement of expansion in On’s largest geographic market, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• You will work with the teams regionally & globally to achieve operational targets through continuous improvement programs and drive sustainable processes to support high-quality growth for the North American distribution network

• You will work closely with the internal Finance & Sales teams to build capacity plans that align with growth objectives and deliver the optimal customer experience for our multi-channel partners while developing strong relationships and on-site leaders to drive performance, quality and culture between On and our 3PL partners

• You will serve as Senior Management level escalation for any repeated issues with 3PL warehouse performance across critical KPIs, assessing network performance across productivity, quality, and inventory management KPI’s to identify forward-looking risks and developing mitigation plans

• You will represent the network portfolio by measuring & reporting on performance across all warehouse functions internally with frequent reviews of procedures, controls, and staffing and drive timely resolution of any issues including root cause corrective action

• Effectively manage the P&L, procedures, and profitability for the team

Your Story:

• 10+ years of experience with increasing levels of warehousing & distribution responsibility with direct experience managing 3PL network 

• 6+ years of leadership experience

• 3+ years of P&L responsibility and KPI management

• Working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain distribution and transportation experience preferred

• Proficient with Microsoft applications, WMS, and ERP systems

• Able to travel up to 25-50% of the time, domestic and international
