THE ROLE

The Head of Coach Experience will be the CEO of the supply side of our business.

This individual will be first and foremost a Product Manager but will also play the role of a General Manager, Business Operations Manager and leader for our Coach Managers + the 60,000 coaches they manage. He or she will be responsible for ensuring every coach has an incredible, life-changing, rewarding experience that drives them to recruit clients to Kickoff, convert, and retain them.

On the one hand, this is a management role, as the Head of Coach Experience will support and oversee our team of Coach Managers and Coach Support Managers (and ultimately our thousands of coaches). At the same time, this is also an individual contributor Product Manager and Business Operations role.

This role comes with a lot of responsibility and is not for everyone - it is for someone who wants to scale a world-changing product and manage a large, high performing organization.


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Weave together product, operations, management, and community to ensure every coach has a life-changing, rewarding experience from day 1 onward
- Drive coach satisfaction, coach retention, and recruitment of client leads
- Conduct user research, competitive research, and analysis to understand underlying coach needs and opportunities to delight
- Define product needs for the coach app + coach sign up flow and work with our designer to design solutions, including further building out our generative AI tooling
- Define and optimize our processes and systems to guide, motivate, enable, and support coaches
- Manage team of contractor coach managers and support staff to execute those processes
- Serve as a leadership team member and help to guide Kickoff’s strategy


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Skills and experience
- 6+ years experience with product and operations
- Expertise in using both quantitative data (i.e. metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (i.e. user surveys and interviews) to inform prioritization and decisions
- You can analyze data yourself by writing SQL queries and using data analysis and event tracking tools
- Startup experience
- Management experience
- Design and UX skills - you don’t have to be a designer but you do have to be able to think like one
