As our HR Data Specialist, you’ll be a key part of making data accessible and impactful. As an HR Data Specialist, your mission is to support the People team in making data-backed decisions that shape the future of our organization. By ensuring that our data is clear, accurate, and readily available, you’ll help make our HR processes more impactful at every level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion Data Requests: Take ownership of Jira data tickets, fulfilling requests with speed and precision to ensure the People team has the data insights they need to drive their goals. 
  • Create Data-Driven Value: Extract and analyze data from HR systems to support our team’s mission with meaningful insights that go beyond basic analytics. 
  • Lead Monthly Reporting: Ensure each monthly report is accurate, timely, and ready to inform our next big People decision, reinforcing our commitment to data-driven HR. 
  • Elevate Data Integrity: Conduct regular data audits with a keen eye, identifying and resolving inconsistencies to keep our HR data reliable and robust. 
  • Enable Cross-Functional Insights: Partner with teams across the organization to support diverse data needs, ensuring data is not just accessible but aligned with our company’s standards. 
  • Support System Excellence: Assist in administering our HR systems by managing access, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining optimal system performance. 

Requirements

What You Need:

  • Skilled in using Excel (e.g., pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, data cleaning etc) to extract, organize, and analyze data that informs decisions. 
  • A strong eye for detail, able to spot inconsistencies and ensure data integrity across audits and requests. 
  • Familiarity with platforms like BambooHR or HiBob for data reporting and system management is preferred. 
  • Ability to translate data findings into clear, concise, actionable insights for team members, enhancing understanding and data-driven decision-making. 
  • A talent for managing multiple requests and priorities, with the agility to respond to new needs in a dynamic environment. 
  • You are an excellent communicator who loves explaining important insights in simple terms. You can synthesize multiple streams of data into actionable communication that will drive C-level decisions. 
  • You’re biased to action and understand the need to consistently ship deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Basic skills in user access management and system troubleshooting to support efficient HR operations.
