THE RUNDOWN 

Playfly Sports is looking for an Integrated Sales Intern to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. Within our 10-week paid Playfly Summer Internship Program, you’ll be immersed into the business side of sports and join our team of talented professionals. Through hands-on experience, projects, and mentoring, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and knowledge it takes to have a career in sports while developing yourself professionally and personally. 

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH  

• Work with National Sales Coordinator to monitor existing advertising schedules and provide weekly delivery analysis 
• Work with National Sales Representative to prepare media schedules and presentations to reach a company's target audience 
• Work with Account Executive to create a sports marketing strategy for a brand 
• Shadow each person in the office (Sales Manager, Business Development, Account Executives, Client Service Representatives, and Client Service Coordinators) to see the complete process of a sale 
• Learn how to contact an advertising agency to facilitate contract and traffic issues, such as copy delivery, receipt of contracts, and fulfillment of payment invoices 
• Learn to research prospective advertisers (using the internet, industry trade magazines, and competitive network information) to determine feasibility of utilizing Home Team Sports to reach target geographic, demographic, and psychographic audiences 
• Attend weekly office sales meetings and individual account team meetings 
• Learn effective communication coverage for a highly functioning sales office 
• Learn effective organizational skills:  prioritize tasks and communicate progress towards completion 
• Develop virtual & in-person presentation skills        
• Attend all internship events and participate in projects and assignments 
• All other duties as assigned

INTERNSHIP DETAILS & APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY 

• Preferably entering senior year of Bachelor’s program, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later 
• Must be available to work June 8, 2026 – Aug 13, 2026, 32 hours/week, Monday – Thursday 
• Interns will be paid an hourly rate of $18.58
