IT Engineer II
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, DevOps, you will serve as the in-house MDM expert, responsible for owning our MDM, lifecycle, and asset management strategy across our primarily Mac-based environment. A primary focus will be on maturing the existing MDM environment, enhancing organizational security, automating repetitive IT tasks, and managing infrastructure (network/A/V). You will also partner closely with the People team to ensure a seamless IT experience during employee onboarding and offboarding.
What You’ll Be Doing:Serve as our in-house MDM expertOwn lifecycle and asset management and streamline equipment policies across the companyPartner with people team in ensuring employees have a smooth onboarding and offboarding experienceProvide ad-hoc IT Support to all of our employees in a primarily Mac based environmentOffice Network updates, LAN, etcProvide audio and visual support in office conference roomsSupport organizational security and productivity initiativesVendor relationship managementAutomating repetitive tasksRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience4+ years of experience working in IT operationsStrong hands on experience with MDM (e.g., Kandji, JAMF, Jumpcloud) - managing both Mac and WindowsGood working knowledge of: IDP Solutions (e.g., Okta), Asset Management tools, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, Google WorkspaceExperience leading and managing IT projects autonomouslyEvangelizing IT best practices throughout organizations Willing to work 1 day a week at our HQ in San FranciscoCross functional team player with a track record of building positive relationships with peers and others within your companyAbility to deal with some amount of ambiguity and a need for little to no guidanceBias for actionsHumility, empathy and open-mindedness - no egosAI Native: You naturally incorporate AI tools to enhance your work.
