OVERVIEW:

The Junior Athlete Marketing Associate role exists to involve arranging to send products to athletes, ensuring athletes participate in new product launches by prepping the briefs prior and tracking campaign execution, supporting brand campaigns and Gymshark events, interacting with current athletes, and managing relationships to ensure a flawless experience between the brand and athletes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Responsible for:

• Recruitment and management of tier 3 Athlete relationships
• Recruitment of new potential creators and/or athletes
• Assist with Brand campaigns, ad-hoc initiatives and NPD drops
• Support with logistics and coordination for the Athlete Marketing Team - in collaboration with Partnerships Coordinator and Operations Executive - to include product orders, travel and accommodation coordination for athletes and talent, etc
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders effectively and maintain good working relationships with athletes and talent
• Plan, develop and execute regional activations that support the company's strategic goal and brand guidelines
• Execute communications and campaigns from Athlete Marketing team to ensure flawless execution and complete success
• Collaborate with wider internal teams such as CRM, Merchandising, and Insights to better grow the brand’s presence in North America through purpose driven marketing campaigns
• Be responsible for athletes and talent social compliance by ensuring all creators are set up on the platform and their content is being tracked in CIQ
• Reporting on athlete and talent performance using KPI’s set by line manager

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• 1+ years of previous experience in Influencer Marketing and/or social media marketing (relevant coursework and internships included)
• Ability to manage competing priorities and effectively manage workflow to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Ability to work well under pressure, both as part of a cohesive team and as an individual contributor
• Ability to identify rising stars and emerging talent that fit the Gymshark brand culture and narrative
• Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in retail
• Awareness of Gymshark brand, history, and products

This role has a salary range between $56,000-65,000 annually depending on experience.
