Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our golf facilities. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

About the Role

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and service.
• Assist with stock control, deliveries, and waste disposal.
• Report maintenance issues to the kitchen manager.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

1. Ensuring all equipment and utensils are washed, dried, and stored properly.
2. Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
3. Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
4. Contributing to effective stock control and delivery procedures.
5. Monitoring food waste and disposing of it safely.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good timekeeping and organizational skills.
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
