This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in the realm of federal health, non-profit and private sectors, shaping the future of healthcare solutions.

Position Overview:

As the Lead Capture Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, pursuing, and winning contracts. Specifically leveraging your expertise in the federal procurement process, combined with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, you will lead capture efforts to secure new business opportunities. The successful candidate will possess strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive analyses of the federal health and other markets, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential competitors.
    • Stay abreast of policy changes, industry developments, and emerging technologies relevant to federal health.
  • Capture Planning:
    • Develop and implement capture plans for opportunities, outlining strategies for successful pursuit.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define win themes, discriminators, and key differentiators.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Lead the development of compelling and compliant proposals, working closely with proposal teams and subject matter experts.
    • Ensure proposals align with client requirements and address the unique needs of federal health agencies and other prospective clients.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, potential partners, and industry influencers.
    • Network within the community to position Lifebit as a trusted and reliable partner.
  • Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough analyses of competitor activities, strengths, and weaknesses to inform capture strategies.
    • Position Lifebit as a preferred provider by understanding and addressing market challenges.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Health Administration, or the Life Sciences), PhD and/or bioinformatic experience is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in federal health capture strategy or business development.
  • Proven track record of successful capture and proposal efforts in the federal health sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the federal procurement process.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
