Position Overview:

As the Lead Capture Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, pursuing, and winning contracts. Specifically leveraging your expertise in the federal procurement process, combined with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, you will lead capture efforts to secure new business opportunities. The successful candidate will possess strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive analyses of the federal health and other markets, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential competitors.
Stay abreast of policy changes, industry developments, and emerging technologies relevant to federal health.

Capture Planning:

Develop and implement capture plans for opportunities, outlining strategies for successful pursuit.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define win themes, discriminators, and key differentiators.

Proposal Development:

Lead the development of compelling and compliant proposals, working closely with proposal teams and subject matter experts.
Ensure proposals align with client requirements and address the unique needs of federal health agencies and other prospective clients.

Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, potential partners, and industry influencers.
Network within the community to position Lifebit as a trusted and reliable partner.

Competitive Analysis:

Conduct thorough analyses of competitor activities, strengths, and weaknesses to inform capture strategies.
Position Lifebit as a preferred provider by understanding and addressing market challenges.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Health Administration, or the Life Sciences), PhD and/or bioinformatic experience is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in federal health capture strategy or business development.
Proven track record of successful capture and proposal efforts in the federal health sector.
In-depth understanding of the federal procurement process.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
