Wargaming invites a Lead Level Artist to join its top AAA project - World of Tanks!

It's a two-times Guinness award-winning vehicle action game with a 110-million army of loyal fans. World of Tanks is a cultural phenomenon that has entertained players worldwide for around 12 years!

What will you do?

Develop and create realistic game environments in line with the concept of the gameplay space.
Define the key visual style of locations based on the overall narrative and game geometry.
Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Concept Artists, and Level Designers.
Setting up lighting
Lead and mentor the team throughout the detailed development process of locations.

What are we looking for?

4+ years of experience in Level Art and in the gaming industry.
Deep understanding of composition and the balance of positive-negative space.
Ability to set up lighting and ambiance in locations.
Experience in classical Level Art, including the arrangement of elements (tile & decals splattering, props, vegetation, decor, VFX, etc.).
Strong soft skills for mentoring and developing a team.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Classical art education and landscape painting skills.
Knowledge of PBR materials principles and procedural techniques for content creation and placement.
