Leaders is offering a dynamic and exciting 3-month internship opportunity for individuals interested in gaining valuable experience in the heart of the sports industry. As a Leaders in Sport intern, you will be supporting the Marketing, Events and Account Management teams to deliver exceptional events and services. This is an excellent chance to acquire experience in commercial operations, marketing, account management, customer relationship management (CRM), and working with a leading sports company.
Key Event Accountabilities:
- Support the Events team in creating superior attendee experiences that align to audience needs, have acute attention to detail, and take inspiration from outside of sport to maximise attendance
- Support in the creation of onsite collateral including branding, venue and stage slides
- Ensure event websites are continually updated to reflect the latest campaign developments
- Support the population of the event app at Leaders Events
Key Marketing Accountabilities:
- Support in the creation and sending of Leaders editorial emails through Pardot
- Assist in delivering in-person and virtual events in the Leaders events calendar
- Develop and maintain all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needs
- Build and maintain areas of the Leaders website and membership platforms using Wordpress
- Use Google Analytics and reporting dashboards to measure effectiveness of marketing effectiveness
Key Account Management Accountabilities:
- Play a role in supporting the Account Management team in delivering contracted partner rights at key Leaders events - collating partner registrations, sponsorship assets and collecting exhibition stand artwork.
- Support in partner management and CRM needs. This includes updating account management trackers, conducting research on current clients and gathering/inputting data for reporting documents and presentations.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, hard-working, trustworthy and committed to the task at hand
- Dynamic, ambitious, organised, disciplined and persuasive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM software would be useful but not essential
- Some interest in data and analysis
- Enthusiasm for the sports industry and a desire to learn
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or recent graduate looking for their first role in sport
