The Role

The Membership Executive will help ensure the engagement and growth of The Leaders Club Membership products. The Leaders Club helps accelerate the personal and professional development of the next generation of leaders in the sports industry and the role will be responsible for providing a ‘second to none’ membership experience, working closely with our members to ensure they are engaging with membership resources and experiences, and helping to deliver our membership products.

Reporting into the Membership and Product Manager, the role will require excellent communication and negotiation skills, a high level of attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines, as well as the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • To support all membership processes, from onboarding through to renewal, ensuring that the agreed processes are followed.
  • To own a group of membership accounts and deepen relationships with all members, that will drive member engagement and experience, that leads to membership renewal and account growth.
  • To ensure the member database is accurate and up-to-date at all times, in accordance with data protection law.
  • To support the monitoring of member product usage and behaviours and making recommendations based on usage and behaviour patterns.
  • To support, and where relevant lead member communications and fostering a sense of community among members.
  • Provide regular market feedback to relevant teams to inform product development and marketing plans.
  • To support implementing product processes.
  • To support and where relevant lead the delivery of products to time and budget, working collaboratively with relevant teams across the business, including virtual and in-person events, creating introductions across the network, organising and maintaining shared-access information resources for members.
  • To support members meeting their business objectives by sharing relevant content, or creating introductions across the network.
  • To build industry knowledge of the target market and continually feed that knowledge back to the business and be the businesses’ subject matter expert (SME).

Requirements

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Preferred: 2-3 years of Membership Management, Community Management or Customer Service experience.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the sports industry landscape.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and orally and ability to plan and execute a community marketing plan
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Goal oriented and can plan and follow a process to reach KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Actively investigates new perspectives and opportunities, pursuing training and development opportunities.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of technology including Office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
