THE POSITION

FanDuel is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to help lead FanDuel’s most important sports league and team partners to drive the company’s strategic objectives across our various businesses. You will help identify key opportunities while also managing day-to-day internal and team relationships and execution. You will be a core member of the Marketing team, collaborating with your peers to shape break-through marketing campaigns and experiences for partners, fans and users alike.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead marketing campaign initiatives with professional leagues and sports teams from strategy through execution, while also fulfilling reporting needs
  • Ensure that both FanDuel and partners fulfill obligations in accordance with the contractual elements of the partnership
  • Assess and further develop upon the returns of each strategic marketing partnerships by working with Corporate Partnerships, Media, and Digital analytics teams and adapting future campaigns based on learnings
  • Supervise and develop junior team members, providing daily direction, task delegation, and performance feedback to ensure quality deliverables
  • Guide the internal team on measuring the effectiveness of campaigns based on business objectives and partner with analytics teams to build and improve measurement and reporting
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to understand opportunities, value and risks for potential new partnerships providing strong POV and rationale on behalf of team to senior leadership
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve current ways of working while fostering and strengthening partner relationships across the FanDuel Group
  • Ensure adherence to guidelines and processes while seeking opportunities to improve current ways of working within the partnerships
  • Creative brief development and work with the Project Management and Creative teams to deliver marketing assets for partner deals
  • Lead ideation of promotions that are compliant with regulations within contractual terms of strategic deal
  • Develop presentation or post-mortem decks for league/team marketing campaigns, maintaining a resource of past campaign results and sharing with stakeholders keeping the marketing leadership and senior leadership apprised of campaign plans and results
  • Lead in the development of strategies that inform the creation of creative briefs and result in exceptional creative execution that consistently pushes boundaries on behalf of the company to result in more impactful use of our marketing plans and assets
  • Understand business objectives and help prioritize the key opportunities to achieve marketing partnership goals while being well-versed across all parts of FanDuel Group and inserting Team and League Marketing into larger integrated marketing efforts
  • Identify, develop, and grow top talent within the broader organization

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years having direct experience working in marketing partnerships preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience mentoring or managing direct reports preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Experience running marketing campaigns, timelines and deployment in a robust business required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in managing concurrent projects in an ever-evolving, fast paced landscape while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in leveraging AI tools
  • Strong familiarity with project management and testing tools like Asana and Optimizely a plus
  • Knowledge of sports or heavily regulated industries is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $127,000 - $159,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
