The League Manager is the operational core of the Brodie League. You’re the person captains rely on, the reason game nights run seamlessly, and the standard every league night is held to.
You anticipate problems before they surface, hold every game night to a premium standard, and treat every gym like it reflects the Brodie brand.
This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys being in the middle of live action, is deeply involved in league operations, and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing sports organization.
What you’ll be doing
Build and manage a seamless season schedule across divisions, gyms, and weekly game schedules
Own team placement, division balance, and captain onboarding from day one
Deliver game nights end-to-end, leading referees and athlete experience staff to ensure a high-quality experience
Manage standings, stats, and weekly results with speed and accuracy
Execute playoffs and championship events players won’t forget
Own registrations and league capacity, ensuring divisions are filled and balanced
Manage gym relationships and ensure every venue reflects the Brodie standard
Keep leadership informed with clear, consistent updates
Bring an entrepreneurial mindset - step in wherever needed, take ownership, and make things happen!
What we need from you
1+ years in operations, events, or a customer-facing role
Comfortable in fast-paced environments - you can think on your feet and stay calm under pressure
Availability for evenings and weekends based on the game schedule
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for sport and community building
Experience working or volunteering in community sports organisations
