We are looking for an experienced
NOC Linux Specialist to support our
Hunt: Showdown NetOps department.
For this role we are looking for someone who is based in Poland to work remotely on a freelance contract.
You will be responsible for the monitoring and troubleshooting of Crytek’s 24×7 gaming network across multiple data-centers, games, and platforms.
Please note that this role requires working in shifts (including night shifts).
ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and operation of the 24×7×365 hosted data-center environment using the monitoring tools Zabbix, Grafana etc;Installation, configuration and patching of system and game software.Ensure appropriate, accurate, up-to-date technical documentation is available for systems and game logic, and environment.Operate and maintain a dynamic, highly available environment.RequirementsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, etc.)Experience as a Linux System Administrator or NOC Engineer.Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus and Grafana are preferred).Must be available to work in shifts Excellent written and verbal English.Experience in automation/configuration management tools (Ansible is preferable), and version control with Git.Hands - on experience with virtualization technologies.Database knowledge: Postgres, Redis, MongoDB.Familiar with the following protocols and services (desirable and will be considered as a strong advantage): TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN (IPSec, OpenVPN), NGINX, HAProxyWhat you can expect from us
