Live Data Administrator

OVERVIEW:
Sportradar runs a global network of over 11,500 highly trained, quality-controlled data journalists, who are covering sports events from venue or from TV in 29 different sports. We are expanding our Live Scouting Administration department, which manages these scouts across the world. From recruitment, training, coverage planning and scout allocation to quality assurance, our team ensures that our production departments are provided with the highest quality event data. As a member of the Scouting Administration team you will also be an important link between our company and sports federations worldwide. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling and Recruitment of Data Journalists worldwide
  • Communication with the Data Journalists
  • Assignment of the events to the Data Journalists in order to arrange the Sportradar´s schedule in advance
  • Verification of the fixtures
  • Organization of the Data Journalist´s work before and during the assigned events
  • Communication with the Sports Federations partners of Sportradar and respective Clubs and Press Offices
  • Prepare requirements and specifications for data collection tools and products
  • Coordinate projects across cross-functional teams in product, design, operations and sales

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English – additional languages would be considered as a plus
  • General technical understanding and vested interest in technical products and solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic about new challenges
  • High interest in many different sports which are part of our portfolio

Personal Requirements:

  • Fluent in English is a must (written and spoken) – any additional language considered as a plus
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team player with the confidence and integrity to earn internal team confidence quickly
  • Ability to work independently
  • Creative thinker, keen to further refine systems and processes
  • Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards and ethics
