The Role

As a part of our Finance team, you will contribute the regular month end and reporting processes for our Bulgaria and Denmark entities. The role will be based out of the Sofia office but will require some level of interaction with internal and external finance teams in the UK office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Performing all assigned journal entries in line with expected accuracy /Accruals, AP, Bank Reconciliations, Manual journals /
• Preparing and uploading data into external payroll provider’s platform /Immedis/
• Reconciliation and upload of monthly payroll
• Handle weekly cashflow analysis, short term cashflow forecasting and payment process.
• Ensuring timely monthly closing of the accounts and preparing Account Certifications
• Support the preparation and filling of quarterly/annual declarations and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support Lead Accountant in the Audit process

Required skills:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Economics
• 3+ years of experience in related fields
• Payroll experience will be considered an advantage.
• Experience with ERP system /Workday/ will be considered an advantage.
• Close attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English
