Requirements

In this role, the Manager of Banking Compliance will assist with developing a unified financial crimes risk management program related to our First Dollar Benefit Suite in close partnership with our sponsor banks. In this role, the Manager will report to the Head of Compliance and work alongside our Operations teams and Senior Leadership Team to protect and safeguard accounts and deposits.

You’ll work on:

• Developing a unified financial crimes risk management program and framework for HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, LSAs, and other health spending and retirement benefits
• Evolving the company's OFAC/KYC/BSA/AML/SARs program, including creating policies, procedures, and training materials
• Assisting with the ongoing oversight of First Dollar’s recently approved IRS Nonbank Custodian (NBC) designation
• Developing partnerships with regulated financial institutions and regulators
• Advising on new products and services, ensuring First Dollar can offer products that delight customers and meet business objectives while staying within the bounds of banking compliance
• Managing multiple KYC and KYB waterfalls within the First Dollar Benefit Suite
• Playing a SME role in sales meetings and customer implementations where banking regulations apply. (Banks are a primary customer type for First Dollar)
• Administering the banking policy, procedure, and issue management programs
• Driving a culture of compliance & execution excellence

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience working within banking risk and compliance functions
• Team player who embraces a mindset that “no task is too small”
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
• You’re looking for a fast-paced startup environment
• Employer benefits and healthcare experience is a plus, but the right candidate will be able to extend their financial experience to pick these up.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field

It’d be nice if you:

• Have a CAFCA, CTMA, CKYCA, or CAMS Certification
• Experience with HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, LSAs, and other spending benefits
• Experience working in dynamic, high-growth environments
