The Manager, Design Services is responsible for overseeing the execution of all marketing design work across the organization, including advertising, collateral, events, social media, sales enablement, and website/landing pages. This role manages a small design team while functioning as a player-coach, directly producing high-quality creative work. The Manager will ensure consistent brand execution, develop efficient processes for creative workflow, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing and sales priorities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage a small team of designers and delegate tasks according to project priorities and skills.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and growth opportunities for design team members.
- Establish and enforce brand and creative standards across all deliverables.
- Track and report on design team success metrics and KPIs.
- Manage external vendors, freelancers, or agencies to scale design output as needed.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, onboards, and continuously trains team members to achieve high performance
- Establish clear team goals, priorities, and performance metrics that are aligned with organizational objectives
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and feedback sessions to support individual growth and enforce company policies.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Design and deliver marketing assets, including ads, sales collateral, event graphics, presentations, digital campaigns, social media content, and websites/landing pages.
- Partner with marketing, sales, events, and product teams to scope projects and ensure on-time delivery.
- Serve as art director on projects, providing feedback and ensuring adherence to brand identity and guidelines.
- Manage design workflow processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into effective design solutions.
- Perform quality reviews of all creative output to ensure excellence and brand consistency.
- Support the development of landing pages and digital experiences optimized for UX and conversion.
- Monitor team workload, setting goals and pushing for high-quality execution.
- Travel may be required for team collaboration or events (5–10%).
