We're building the definitive platform for intentional living, connecting people with inspiring experiences in fitness, wellness, and beyond. With popular brands like Mindbody and ClassPass, Playlist empowers businesses and individuals, making it effortless for aspirations to become actions. Join us in reshaping technology's role to foster meaningful, real-world connections.

The Role You’ll Play:

The Global Partnerships team oversees the App Ecosystem and Strategic Partnerships, including white-labeled and embedded partner products.
As the Manager of Business Operations, Partnerships, you will be both a strategic thought partner and an execution driver—owning the systems, processes, and operating rhythms that enable our partner ecosystem to scale. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and problem-solving. You’ll translate high-level business goals into actionable plans, while rolling up your sleeves to solve complex, ambiguous challenges. You’ll partner closely with Partnerships leadership and cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Product, BI, Sales, and Support.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate strategy into execution: Turn partner and revenue goals into scalable processes, operating cadences, and clear ownership across teams
  • Drive strategic partnership initiatives: Partner with Partnerships leadership to scope, evaluate, and execute high-impact partnership projects (e.g., new partner models, monetization strategies, and ecosystem expansion opportunities)
  • Own and evolve the operating model: Identify gaps across systems, workflows, and policies—and implement pragmatic, high-impact solutions
  • Lead through ambiguity: Act as the go-to problem solver for complex partner issues (billing, contracts, data, systems), navigating trade-offs and driving resolution
  • Build for scale: Develop playbooks, governance frameworks, and internal tooling that enable consistency and efficiency as the ecosystem grows
  • Drive strategic planning: Support annual planning, revenue modeling, and roadmap prioritization with a strong POV grounded in data
  • Leverage AI and automation: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and decision-making using AI tools, automation, and lightweight systems
  • Create visibility: Deliver clear, actionable insights through reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready analysis
  • Foster continuous improvement: Establish feedback loops, retrospectives, and metrics to continuously improve how the team operates
  • Support team growth: Help mentor and uplevel junior team members as the function scales

Who You Are

  • Strategic + hands-on: You can zoom out to define the “what and why,” then dive in to execute the “how”
  • Scrappy and resourceful: You move quickly, find creative solutions, and are comfortable building from 0→1 without perfect inputs
  • Strong operator: You bring structure to ambiguity and have a track record of building and scaling processes
  • AI-curious (or fluent): You actively leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation tools, no/low-code platforms) to improve efficiency and output quality
  • Data-driven thinker: You’re comfortable using data to inform decisions and communicate insights
  • Excellent communicator: You can influence stakeholders across functions and levels with clarity and confidence
  • Ownership mindset: You take accountability, push things forward, and continuously look for ways to improve

Experience You Bring

  • 5+ years in business operations, partnerships operations, program management, strategy, or similar roles
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced SaaS, marketplace, or platform environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building reports, dashboards, and business models
  • Proven ability to design and scale operational processes and systems
  • Experience working with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems, APIs, or platform businesses preferred
  • Experience leveraging AI tools or automation in workflows is a strong plus
