We are currently looking for a Monetisation/Live-Ops Designer to join our Lively team. We’re based in Leamington Spa but we are fully supportive of remote working and happy to enable whatever blend of home and office best empowers you and your work.

What Does a Monetisation/Live-Ops Designer Do at Lively?

We are looking for someone to work their magic on the economy, retention, and monetisation loops of our games, taking them from concept to launch, live-ops, and beyond. Combining effective game design, smart product thinking and an incisive understanding of player psychology to deliver commercial results and player satisfaction over the long-term.

• Ensures that all aspects of the design of our games work together to deliver retention and monetisation KPIs over the long term.
• Works to increase player satisfaction and spend.
• Designs economies, events, play patterns and reward structures that are effective and enjoyable.
• Communicates smoothly and clearly within the team, with other disciplines and with clients and external developers.
• Works with leadership, Analytics, UX, Product and whole team to ensure the economy and event design is delivering the correct experience for the audience and commercial intentions of the game.
• Understands how to balance the pursuit of KPIs with the long-term health of the game through player satisfaction.
• In the most wholesome way imaginable, loves what they do, and we can tell. (This isn’t a codeword for crunch. The day is over. Go home. So to speak...)

Requirements

• Appreciable experience in a similar role working in a live environment. This is an important position, and we need to be confident that we are in safe hands.
• Demonstrable success in delivering commercial and player experience improvements on multiple titles.
• Be passionate, curious, motivated and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to work well as a team player in a collaborative environment.
• Have a love of creating unforgettable, commercially potent and superbly satisfying gaming experiences for the audience

This role has the possibility of being extended to a permanent fulltime contract.
