We are seeking a highly skilled Member of Technical Staff Level 3 (MTS3) to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. As an MTS3, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence, leading complex projects, and mentoring junior team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain high-quality software development practices
  • Optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement in existing applications
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our development processes and product offerings
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the organization
  • Drive innovation by researching and proposing solutions to complex technical challenges
  • Assist in defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java-based systems
  • Proven expertise in a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to: Java, AWS services, Kafka, Spring, SQL databases, Python, and Lambda
  • In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools (GitLab experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, with at least 4 years of leadership experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues
  • Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and experience with scalable system design
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Proven ability to innovate and drive technological advancements within a team or organization
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS, and serverless architectures
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in code quality and system design
