Academic Year Internship Program Details
Program Dates: September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027
Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.
Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Stamford, CT.
Academic Year Recruitment Timeline
April 20: Applications open

Early May – Mid June: First round video interviews
Mid June – Mid July: Second round interviews

The NBC Sports Marketing Strategy team synthesizes viewership data, industry insights, and emerging trends in fandom and consumer behavior to develop comprehensive marketing and brand strategies supporting NBCUniversal’s portfolio of sports properties, including Sunday Night Football, the Olympics, Premier League, PGA TOUR, NASCAR, and many more.
Consumer Engagement
This intern will be situated within the NBC Sports Gaming team helping to manage various marketing calendar Smartsheet's, updating metrics for email & Points Bet, as well as assisting with a variety of long-term projects for NFL, Olympics & more.
