Healthcare providers go into medicine to care for people, but end up losing valuable time each day to admin work and other workplace challenges. Time that could otherwise be spent helping patients. And patients end up suffering as a result. At Commure, we build solutions that simplify providers' lives and keep them connected to their patients so they can focus on doing what matters most: providing care.

Our innovative suite of software and hardware – augmented by advanced LLM AI, RTLS, and healthcare workflow automations – boosts efficiency across every domain of healthcare, freeing up healthcare providers to spend more of their time caring for patients. Our growing suite of technologies include staff duress alerting, asset tracking, patient elopement, revenue cycle management, clinical documentation and intake, provider copilots, patient engagement and communication, home health, remote patient monitoring, and more.

Today, we support over 250,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites around the country. And we’re only just getting started: Healthcare’s watershed moment for AI-powered transformation is here – so join us in creating the technology to power healthcare!

We’re looking for someone who’s part program owner, part experience designer, and part operator—someone who can take full ownership of the new hire experience from day one to full integration. You’ll build and lead a structured, engaging, and scalable onboarding program that aligns with how we operate, how we grow, and how we deliver on our mission. This role is about more than orientation—it’s about driving efficiency, connection, accountability, and productivity in a way that reflects who we are as a company.

You’ll run our weekly onboarding sessions, partner with managers across the org, track outcomes like time-to-productivity, and constantly look for ways to improve the experience. You'll work across teams to build workflows, fix friction points, streamline onboarding systems, and make onboarding something we’re proud of, not just a check-the-box task. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments and knows how to lead programs that have real operational and cultural impact.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full onboarding experience across the company, from systems to sessions to post-day-one integration

  • Design and run weekly live onboarding sessions to engage new hires, connect them to our mission, and deliver clear, thoughtful onboarding orientations

  • Create and maintain onboarding materials—slides, onboarding roadmaps, timelines, and guides for both new hires and managers
Build structured workflows that scale with us—automate and simplify where possible using tools like Rippling, Airtable, Notion, Workramp, and Google Suite

  • Partner closely with IT, Talent, and functional leaders to ensure onboarding is seamless and every detail is handled, from laptop provisioning to compliance readiness

  • Set clear onboarding success metrics tied to time-to-productivity, early engagement, and manager feedback

  • Track and analyze program data—use insights to refine onboarding and highlight trends, blockers, and areas for improvement

  • Own follow-through after week one, establish structured 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins, and ensure continuity throughout onboarding

  • Meet regularly with new hires to gather feedback, conduct onboarding focus groups, and understand what’s landing and what needs to evolve

  • Equip managers with the tools they need: clear checklists, expectations, and self-serve content to help them onboard their teams effectively

  • Reinforce onboarding as a performance driver. Tie onboarding experience to early productivity, engagement, and retention metrics

  • Build a living onboarding resource hub that grows over time, create self-serve tools, FAQs, and how-to content for new hires and their managers

  • Serve as the go-to owner for onboarding operations if it touches the new hire journey, you’re involved in making it better

Experience

  • You have 4+ years of experience in learning and development, training operations, onboarding programs, or program management

  • You’ve built programs that scale—you’ve taken onboarding or training from a reactive state to something structured and data-driven

  • You’re a strong communicator and facilitator, meaning you can hold the room, speak with clarity, and connect with people from all levels of the company

  • You’re comfortable designing and running onboarding content, including slide decks, talking points, and handouts

  • You know how to measure what matters, and you’ve used metrics to improve and make decisions

  • You’ve worked across teams before and know how to get alignment. You're great at pushing projects forward

  • You’re organized, accountable, and you don’t miss details. You build systems that work and keep things moving

  • You’re tech-savvy, you’re comfortable with Rippling or similar HRIS, Notion, Airtable, and workflow tools

  • You’re energized by ownership, this is your program to run and scale

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare or with global/regional onboarding challenges

  • Exposure to digital learning tools or LMS platforms

  • Experience working closely with IT, compliance, and legal teams as part of onboarding

  • Background in high-growth or early-stage environments

  • Comfort with light data storytelling or dashboard building
