About the Opportunity

We are looking for a P2P Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the growth of the CIS P2P marketplace. In this role, you will focus on expanding partnerships, onboarding and supporting key merchants, and identifying new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to enhance liquidity, optimize performance, and strengthen the P2P ecosystem.
 
Your goal will be to develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy, defining clear KPIs across key metrics such as active merchant base, trading volumes, liquidity, and user retention. You will be responsible for setting measurable targets, tracking performance, and driving initiatives that ensure long-term, sustainable expansion of the P2P marketplace.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Merchant acquisition, manual onboarding, and partnership management.
  • Monitoring key market metrics and analyzing drivers of organic changes, including legislation updates, industry news, and regional events.
  • Assisting with the design, execution, and promotion of P2P campaigns in collaboration with the Growth team, including coordinating mechanics and supporting merchant engagement.
  • Partnership with trading schools: onboarding students, assigning merchant status, and monitoring performance quality.
  • Distribution of branded swag to merchants and partners as part of retention initiatives.
  • Coordination with the Product team: escalating merchant and market requests, ensuring timely delivery of product solutions.
  • Handling escalations from merchants and other P2P partners.
  • Reporting to management and cross-functional teams on performance and initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the Risk team: assisting in scam case reviews, analyzing user-side scam patterns in the market, and contributing ideas for prevention measures (final decision-making remains with the Risk team).
  • Attending events, engaging with merchants and other partners, presenting OKX materials.

 

What We Look For In You

  • Being fluent in English and native Russian is a must.
  • Knowledge of blockchain, crypto, and P2P payments is preferred
  • Familiar with the whole process of P2P operation, able to build merchant trust through service and daily management, not only relying on promotional activities to improve merchant activity
  • Organized, meticulous and result-oriented, strong problem-solving & analytical skill
  • Strong team mindset and solid work ethic

  • Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange!
  • Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
  • Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto payments space
