This position will be a key figure in supporting the Performance Chef in optimizing the performance, development, health, and recovery of players and staff based out of the Felipe Alou Baseball Academy located in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, by delivering top-tier food and nutrition services. </div><div>The Performance Cook will assist the Performance Chef on the day-to-day culinary operations in the performance kitchen as assigned by the Performance Chef including but not limited to menu design, food and snack preparation, stocking of beverages and snacks, receiving inventory, overseeing storage, and dishes and sanitation procedures.</div><div>They will also play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring a hygienic and efficient environment for food preparation for players and staff.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div><b>Position
</b></div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Support and execute the culinary vision of the Performance Nutritionist and Performance Chef, contributing to the excellence of the culinary program.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Prepare food and beverages according to established quality and flavor standards, ensuring compliance with nutritional guidelines.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Strictly maintain food safety and hygiene standards in food handling.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Assist in the development and modification of recipes to optimize their nutritional content.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Receive and inspect products to guarantee quality and freshness.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Supervise the rotation of supplies using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to minimize waste.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Ensure all workstations and kitchen equipment remain clean and organized.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment, ensuring their availability for the culinary team.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Operate and maintain dishwashing and kitchen equipment in good condition.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Properly apply hygiene, food safety, and waste disposal protocols.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Report any incidents related to the maintenance or operation of work areas.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude within the kitchen team.</div><div>●<span style="font-size: 7pt;"> </span>Other duties as assigned by the Performance Chef.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div><b>Skills and
