Position Overview

 As a Pickleball Coach at CityPickle, you will work closely with our Lead Pro and coaching team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will help deliver exceptional on-court experiences across lessons, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and events—both on and off the court.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality coaching for players of all skill levels
• Develop and implement effective, engaging training programs
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and fun learning environment
• Evaluate player progress and deliver clear, constructive feedback
• Offer private lessons (set your own availability and rates)
• Assist with open play, leagues, tournaments, and events
• Represent the CityPickle brand with professionalism and energy

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong passion for pickleball
• High energy, collaborative mindset, and leadership mentality
• Self-starter with strong ownership and follow-through
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 1 year of pickleball coaching experience (certification preferred)
• Bonus: experience in programming, events, or sports operations

Compensation

• $40/hour for CityPickle-hosted programming
• Additional earning potential through privately set lesson rates
• 1099 independent contractor role
